its a shitty time travel movie that seems really cool when youre drunk but the more you think about it and watch it the more you realise its not as good without the 2 40s

I thought it was very sweet. A great first film from a very intelligent, promising director. I loved it.

Mediocre. Was good the first time. Then you watch it again and notice it's flaws.

The more times you watch it, the shittier it gets.

I actually just watched the movie a few nights ago. Its a good movie, I just really don't have an opinion on the movie as a story, it didn't make much sense to me and just got more confusing as my boyfriend and I discussed it. Honestly thought I don't even know how I would go about fixing it.
However I thought the cinematography was very good.I really liked the use of light and dark. I also really liked the way some of the speaking parts were very quiet it keeps you paying attention. Another aspect was the conflict between good and evil, which I liked because it wasn't the normal good versus evil fight. Donny acted out against what he thought was evil, by breaking the water main at school and burning the "fear and love" guys house.
I think I'm rambling and I don't really think the post makes much sense...but I guess thats the effect Donny Darko has.

I've not seen it, but on the trailers they show a scary rabbit that looks like a malevolent Harvey. Are there any similarities?
