stacking during incubation

I'm going to use a jug of water with a fish tank heater in a rubber maid container for incubation. Is there any reason I should not stack the jars to make them all fit, or is there something I should place between the layers?

Also, I am assuming I need a glass container for the water so the heater does not melt one out of plastic, but any knowledge on this would be appreciated.

nope you dont need glass. After all you are only going to have the heater set to 86 degrees. It wont melt any plastic.
secondly yes you can stack them just make sure that the air is able to flow around all the jars,so dont pack them in too tight.

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.

I'll only suggest TnT (tub in a tub) Magash has the optimum one posted everywhere or they can be very simple also, the only thing different you'll need is another tub. Slacking is a good way of doing it  and will work fine. GL and Welcome!!! BTW those aquarium heaters heat up pretty damn hot until the water temp is where it was set at FYI And I have seen cheaper tubs melt (what a mess!!!) so as long as your using quality bins/tubs you should be fine, but if not then a tall glass on it's side is cheap insurance and is something I've always done anyway!
