I am TEMPORARILY(about a week) out of prints. I am, however, taking reservations on the next bunch of prints. The prints are FREE or TRADE, trades are prefered but not necessary. PM me if you are interested or have ?'s.
I will post some more SWEET pics in the next few days.
I will also post concerning the availabilty of, we'll call it,DDD.(Dioze's Dairy Dung)[lol], as soon as I get results back from the people that recieved the "Trial" Samples.

Nice looking mushrooms Dioze1. They grew rather tall instead of short and FAT like we always see the Thai KS. Did you use a casing soil in your homemade compost?

I have about 2 1/2 tonnes of composted cattle dung in a pile in my field, its about 3 years old... and its now BLACK... excellent stuff, not like regular dung thats brown.
I'm gonna give it a name... and sell it at an extortionate price :)
I posted a picture of it on DD... I should post another... its great stuff... anyone want some?
Whoa! Where my Fingers?

Thanks Rhyche! Actually they were very tall for TKS-averaged 6-9 inches. That is the only tall flush I have ever seen out of this strain.
I do case this stuff because it is so nutritious it tends to lend itself to overlsay. I only case 1/8 of an inch or so.
As far as it being my homemade compost.... It is NOTHING more than dung from a large dairy. It has bedding and all kinds of other stuff in it too. I just make a large pile and let the center "cook" for about 2-3 weeks--just enough to kill the smell. I then remove dung that has been "cooking' from the center of the pile and bake it for 2 hours @ 200 degrees. I crumble 1&1/2 pints worth of substrate with approx 7-10 lbs. It usually fully colonizes in 7-10 days. I swear to God this is THE best substrate I have EVER used.
I will be creating a new thread today or tomorrow with all new pics. Here is a sample....

Basically what you are creating is compost from the dairy dung and bedding. Piling it all up like that is part of the compost process. The bedding probably being straw, with amounts of partially digested feed, perhaps hay, corn, grain etc... lots of cow urine in the bedding. All of this makes for great compost.
It sounds like a really good dung based substrate.
Have you had a chance to sample the Thai ks yet?

I have sampled the TKS's Tooo many times!(lol)
Actually the dung has everything from sawdust to corn husks. It also has ALOT of un-digested grains-- Rye, Corn, Barley, and Cottonseed. Pretty nifty shit!!! It is one of the larger dairy operations around. The particular farm I get this stuff from milks 800+ cows three times a day---they know their stuff. They also keep the "World-famous" Biltmore Dairy(George Vanderbilt) Jerseys. As far as the TKS goes... It is an EXCELLENT experimental strain. The buzz-- They get kinda visual after 4 grams, not THE most potent Cube I've ever eaten, but well worth the effort.
I have YOUR Mexi-cubes "brewing", as we speak. I have a feeling that we will be in for QUITE a treat.
I also have some Pan Trops in the works. (6 days-- and three jars are over 75% colinized:)---- WOW!!!
I'll post results from each.
