OK gas and styrofoam makes napalm, but a little rubbing alcohol isn't going to hurt.

It shouldn't. I would avoid all the hydrocarbons though. Perhaps even all non-polar solvents.

i got the styrofoam tub from an asian supermarket - i had held papayas, i think  :crazy2:

this was a long time ago. i wouldn't recommend anyone to do all that condenser bottles crap now  :rotfl:

Gasoline is a hydrocarbon... some other examples of common hydrocarbons are: diesel fuels, lighter fluid, propane, home heating oil, marine and motor oil, fuels, cleaning solvents, hydraulic fluids, crude oil and lubricating oils.

Solvents are either polar or non-polar. Water is polar, alcohols are polar, etc. Non-polar solvents are naptha, gas, coleman fuel, white gas, benzene, etc.

Don't worry if you don't undertand exactly what I'm saying, just avoid putting gas on styrofoam.
