24-hour mycelium tea?

i read that you can chop up spent vermiculite cakes into little cubes and make tea with them just as you would mushrooms, but you strain out all the particulate matter, obviously.. i was wondering... could i make this about 20-24 hours in advance and store it in a container without it losing potency?

About the 24 hrs in advance... Sure, that would probably be okay.. But <1 hour would be better. These aren't the most stable molecules in the world we're talking about here.

Also, there are reports that you get the best results from a cake that has been fruited already rather than an unfruited cake. I can't verify this. Mycelium itself may not produce large quantities of the "goodies" unless its been stimulated to produce fruit bodies.

Give it a whirl. Use a hot acidic water soln. Just drink a cup o' tea slowly until you feel it doing somethin.
