Yeah, that's not actually a very good photo of the scelly, I'll try to get a better one to replace it with!
It's from seed, planted on Dec 24th. I had some other ones, which mysteriously died. I think maybe their roots rotted or something...
One of them flowered first though:

Yeah, very nice pics! Hey, did you put the calea in that location just for the pic, or does really grow there? I though they might need a little more light, but if not, that's great: I'll get some myself!

Glad you like the pics!

Those plants are growing in that location. It's kinda like a conservatory, but doesn't actually have any glass in the windows at the moment. It's just a good place to keep them out of the wind. It's a bright spot, but doesn't get very much full sunlight (great for salvia). The calea is doing fine there, but might grow better with a bit more light.
It might seem a little dimly lit because it was done in the late afternoon, and it was getting a bit dark... also the camera flash has the effect of making the place look dark, in contrast to the light from the flash...

I was going to post some more now, but I still have about four hours to go until I can upload more... :frown:

PS - psylo33o, if you want a little calea cutting then I can send you one if you like, although it will be a few weeks before it's rooted. You see, I'm going to trim it a bit, to make it more bushy, so I'll have several cuttings available...

More pics :crazy2:.

Salvia. One season's growth from a 6" cutting!!

Deadly nightshade:

Salvia, being made to grow bushy by cutting off the fourth node from each branch:

Capsicum annum "masquerede" :evil::

Ah, out of room again! I'll do another update tomorrow. I should edit my pics to make them smaller before I upload them!

And some more!

~120 peyote seedlings (the oldest almost 6 months) and some pachanois:

Heimia and two khats, all a little over two months old:

Nine peyotes, a peyote graft, and a little ariocarpus fissuratus:

Some orchids:

A few more pics tomorrow, maybe... Hope you like them!

Edit: here is the calea when I got it, in early August. As you can see, they grow quite fast!

Good work!

Your peyotes are very uniform, you pricked them out already or just a patient sower?

Is that Ariocarpus the mother plant of those seeds?

Ha, I'm a patient sower. I like my seedlings in neat little rows :tongue2:. In fact what I sometimes do is plant them in rows, and plant a few extra in another pot, so that I can transplant seedlings into the gaps left in the rows by seeds that don't germinate! Maybe I should get out more .
Nah, that ariocarpus is only a few years old, I doubt it will flower for several years yet. The seeds I'm sending you are from some that I bought.
I'll check out photobucket, thanks for the tip Mystiq!
