Im using Winamp for me music now + milkdrop.

How can you set the AVS to suit what you want ?

Any other places to score some more kool visuals.

hypnogenic screen saver

those 3 are from the same company, they work in winamp, but i dont know how well, like it'll stop working on some computers... it's stupid, but WAY bad ass visuals...

Mildrop rules, my friend. There is no better visualization program. Ryan Geiss wrote the book on how to best program music visualization plugins.
Try tweeking the configuration settings, and get some red and blue 3-D glasses and you can watch it in true stereoscopic 3-D. Its pretty amazing if you have a good computer to run it the best on.

yup, milkdrop & r4 are the best out there. AVS and all that other crap is boring to me. but r4 & mikdrop rule :thumbup:

Winamp. Been using it since 2000.

You can download a bunch of milkdrop presets at www.milkdrop.co.uk

R4 is very good, but I generally enjoy watching milkdrop more. Someone who posts here as Shroomerylurker has made many presets of his own. In this thread he posted a bunch of his work, but all of his posts seem to have been deleted. I have a few of them saved, you can PM me if you want them.
