OK....Another retarded question from the lil girl with smurfs invaiding her room.....I recently picked a beautiful purrrfect looking specimen....but I'm worried....it BARELY blued....should I assume that it has little or no potency????

cut the bottom ~1/2cm off with a knife? I did that to get rid of some skanky verm crap and it went dark blue. I imagine that your shroom will blue if you do that but i could be wrong.

OK....I'm sitting here looking at it....it's blue....but not like my other babies....it's very light and it's taking it forever to turn....my other you can touch and they will turn almost black within seconds....what's the deal? Also (I know I should have kept it straight) I grew two strains of PC Austrailia and PC Maz I have no clue which this one is...any way to ID it?

Don't rely on bluing alone... great way to spend your afternoon curled up in a little ball next to your camode. Make sure that It has purple to black spores and make sure it's gilled. THere is a fine line between blue, kinda blue, and not blue at all.

Someone should email me a bowl.

as long as you got the spores from a reputiable vendor you should be just fine
kramer notices some blue a lot more than others although he trips hard on both
all in all your golden:)

There is really no evidence that more bluing equals more potency. Although many will say that it is the psilocin that causes the reaction, I believe that it is actually a seperate chemical, and that its presence only indicates the possiblity that psilocin/psilocybin are present in the sample (there are some active psilocybes that do not bruse blue, and some non-magic that do).
