Enviro-bag mistake?
    #3078431 - 09/01/04 03:08 PM (19 years, 7 months ago)

This is my first time attempting to cultivate, so I chose to use a simple bag method. I, however, began exposing the bag to light before it was 100% colonized. After 4 days of exposing it to 12 hours of light, i still didn't see any pinning. Can I put it back in the dark and will the mycelium finish colonizing the bag? Someone please help me fix my wrong doings!

How much colonization do you have? I would put it back into the dark at temps around 85deg and keep a close eye out for pins. If it starts to pin prematurely ,which it probably wont, then I would just leave it in the bag and let it do its thing invetro and hope for the best.

I'd say around 60-75% colonized

Yeah, just put it back into a dark warm place and let it finish up. It may be stalled and you wont see any new growth for a couple of days, but it should pick back up and finish colonizing. Only way to know for sure it to give it a go and see what happens though.

Good Luck,I hope it gets back in line and doesnt start pinning early on ya. Let me know how it does.
