I tried clicking on the btdownloadgui icon and it crashes, the error message is so huge that I went to 1600x1200 and I still couldnt close it because it went down for who knows how long , so I ctrl-alt-deleted it 3 times for each time I opened it up, do'ya guys think that could have interrupted or even corrupted my download? thx in advance

Well, if the program crashed then it interrupted your download but if it was just the GUI then it might still be running (check your process list). Either way, I'd probablt reboot to get things back to normal. BitTorrent uses hashes to verify file integrity, so you don't have to worry about corruption. Might want to try Azureus though, it can be a bit of a pain to get running since you need Java but it's worth it. Peace, -Y

-------------------- "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniencies attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson

more questions if you dont mind answering.. I have 4 downloads going on but Im not getting anything transfered really, sometimes I get up to 4kb transfer, sometimes I get lucky and get more but %98 of the time I get 0kbs on upload and download even though I can see ppl are sharing and the fact that I have more than 100mb for some files should mean even if Im not downloading surely I should be uploading to someone right? & what is sharing rate?, at first I thought how many ppl but its number description is confusing Sharing rates for my dls; I should mention the only reason I have downloaded anything was becaus I left my comp running over night (downloads range from 37mb to 200mb), Im using BitTornado at the moment dl1: 0.018 dl2: 0.013 dl3: 0.005 dl4: 0.006 would getting a different torrent help with anything other than user friendly options? (ex. amount of ppl sharing) I also have kazaa resurrection running at the same time while the torrents are dling, my IE seems to be affected by either the torrents or kazaa, I suspect its kazaa, whenever I select or type in a url it doesnt always load and says "the page cannot be displayed", it seems to be at random, if I press it again it loads up as normal, half the time it says it cant find the page, very buggy behavior I have a bad feeling running torrents and kazaa at the same time isnt a good idea thx in advance
