and keep telling yourself that your in controle with your iv speedballs, because one day you will find yourself with quite the monkey on your back, and you will truely learn what it means to be addicted. Ask anyone here who has at one point been an addict.

This is so far gone its not even worth the time to explain my standpoint anymore. Maybe you should all very slowly read the posts I've made instead of skimming through them.
My last words are this: I treat cocaine and heroin with knowledge, with respect, I enjoy what they offer once maybe every 5 months.
Without respect I would abuse these drugs. Without knowledge of their addiction potential, I would abuse these drugs. People who smoke weed should know this isen't some substance sent from god or bhudda or whatever your religion, for you to enjoy abundantly and care-free it comes with a price to pay as any substance does if not respected.

most every addict I've ever encountered started slowly, with caution, no one just starts using heroin every day.

I actually haven't in 7 months and I don't plan to anymore because there are FAR to many interesting substances out there to get addicted to just one.

No drug is sent from any God. That much is simple. It is delusional to think otherwise.
Any drug is fine when practiced with moderation.

Moderation indeed. My whole point is many people think marijuana does NOT require moderation because of the "harmless", natural concept they've been fed. Also that you can do cocaine and heroin in MODERATION and be enjoy it too, the problem is not many people can/desire to do it in moderation, but if you can then you can enjoy 2 great substances as well as many others in a perfect ballance.

I agree somewhat. Some people can function when smoking daily, but many more can not.
Like I said earlier, I can't smoke during the day b/c I get really tired, but I am fine if I smoke at night. I think people just need to know their limits and be disciplined enough not to push themselves over their breaking point.

I read every last word, but did you read our points??
Science is the way to prove this one way or another, and as it stands, I've got the science and you've got your opinion.

Science? alright, call up any drug treatment facility and ask how many people are there for plain ole marijuana. "More than 320,000 people seek treatment per year for their primary marijuana addiction. In addition, animal studies suggest marijuana causes physical dependence, and some people report withdrawal symptoms." National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA) Narconon, a popular drug treatment facility says Marijuana is their #1 most commonly assisted drug rehabilitation as far as number of people involved.

Most marijuana rehab patients are forced to be there to satisfy their probationary status.

ie jail time or rehab
what would you pick
then the anti-drug groups say many people are in rehab for pot, but they omit that small detail

It happens all the time, my friend got a possession charge, and was forced to go. It doesn't matter to the Gov. if it's addictive, it's illegal, so any use = abuse to them.

What about the people who openly admit that marijuana is addictive? Which is ALOT.
You may say "thats them" but theyre humans with many of the same biological functions as yourself.
Are you saying marijuana is not at all addictive or are you saying as long as you keep in moderation it's fine?
I agree with moderation but I still strongly stand to say that marijuana can be very psychologically addictive with extended abuse.

Also, it takes balls to say you're addicted to POT so more people than not just don't say anything. I've still encountered numerous people who have told me flat out that to them, it is very addictive.
