Vanilla Sky

I saw this movie a while ago, and thought it was great. I watched it again, and it confirmed it's mindblowing status. Definitely oe of my favorite movies ever, and it has by far the best soundtrack of any move ever made.

Cehck it out!

I thought Tom Cruise did a good job. I don't mind him.

The music just blows my mind in that movie, perfectly selected and placed.

I want to see the original mexican movie. What is it called again?  Anyway, Penelope Cruz is in that one too.  She is so beautiful.

But yeah, it's a cool movie as far as Hollywood goes.

I thought it was good until I saw Abre los Ojos and realized that all Cameron Crowe did was to translate that movie into English and stick Tom Cruise in it. I'm getting tired of the lack of originality in Hollywood. All these remakes really piss me off. I could understand if they added something worthwhile to the story, but most of the times they either make it worse, or at best, the same. I do give Crowe credit for the good soundtrack though.

It doesn't bother me, though, b/c if it wasn't released as a U.S. movie, I would have never seen it. It does suck that no credit was given to the old movie, though.
