just wondering if anyone out there knows why it is not good to use aluminium cookware when preparing san pedro.

Aparantly it reacts with the alkaloids in the cactus. I don't know. Check erowid. They should have some info on it.

i used a normal pot to boil mine, worked fine for me. I also used alot of lemon juice, though.
