casing questions:

I'm going to do 2 1/2 pints tonite with casing in a 50/50 coir-verm casing. I had a question on what size tray is preferable for this - - - - another wuestion which is probably a dumb one, but i am so, how do you measure correctly the mixture - just don't want to mess up at this point and want to double check. Then - what kind of alcohol used to sterilize the trays.....i used bleach earlier on the counter tops etc. . .

2 half-pint cakes, case into something about the size of a big mac tray.

the mixture is easy - pour the crumbled cakes in (the substrate), say 2 inches deep  and level off / pour on casing mixture, about a quarter of the thickness of the substrate layer - 1/2 inch in this example, and level off / spray a couple of times / cover with clingfilm and incubate / here it comes

what kind of alcohol used to sterilize the trays?.....what kind can you get? ethanol or isopropanol is great, methanol less good. get what you can, and consider diluting it to 70 - 100%
