oh, that cake was innoculated a month ago, but the other ten were innoculated 2 weeks ago. sorry if i've confused you guys

so maybe I should do more casing.... would the 50/50 method work if instead of cutting fresh cakes, I use colonized cakes and crumble sterile, fresh substrate in between that?
