I found it. Very interesting, it was just getting going when the clip cut out though. I like the guitar, I heard very little classical guitar, I'm definitly going to check into this more.

If you like darker stuff, check out Dimitri Shostakovich's 8th string quartet--it will blow you away (better to listen to high than tripping, its a little too much on shrooms). Also, I have had so many spiritual experiences to Arnold Schoenberg's Verklarte Nacht. Its like 30-40 min. long but totally worth it. it starts dark and then works to total beauty by the end--a great way to start a trip (the full orchestra version conducted by Karajan is better than the original string sextet). Also, the most spiritual piece i have ever tripped to is Bach's Chaconne in D minor for solo violin. I recommend the version by Itzhak Perlman on youtube.

Dimitri Shostakovich's String Quartet no. 8 is the best dark classical piece there is. Rachmaninoff also has alot of dark, moody Russian stuff. Bach's Prelude to the 2nd Cello Suite in D Minor is pretty great dark piece too. I cry for joy when i listen to Bach's Chaconne in D minor from the 2nd violin partita, its just an amazing musical experience (but it must be listened to as a whole, all 14 minutes) (also, listen to Itzhak Perlman's version--be sure to listen to part 1 AND 2--the second part is even better than the first). If you have any questions or want pieces in certain moods--just ask--i have to be around this stuff all the time since i am a classical music composition major. Philip Glass has some really cool sounds, not dark but very colorful while tripping (mescaline + The Hours by phil glass=awesomeness).

I like these two, but I guess you have already heard of them before because they are quite popular.

Henryk Górecki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_No._3_(G%C3%B3recki)
This peice of music (particularly the 2nd movement) takes my breath away. It's dark, sorrowful and both painful and joyous at the same time.
Some others I like
Bethoven's 9th Gustav Holst - The Planets (Listen to Mars, you'll recognise it. )

vivaldi: the four seasons.
get his four part composition themed around the obvious title. if you enjoy atmospheric soundscapes a la pink floyd and even isis or death (you are a lost cause if not), this is your man.
