It's hard finding the right forum for this question. It doesn't deal with mycology, per se, but this forum is for "non mushroom drugs". Oh well, if the mods / adminies want to move it, be my guest
My most recent experiments with making mushrooms more edible and thus more enjoyable, have led me to the making of chocolates. I weigh out the shrooms (on my Ohaus Ruby 300 digital scales) into 1.5g doses (this is a nice visual dose off of the cambodians I was using). The shrooms go into a coffee grinder and made into a powder. Then I get a cupcake pan and put a cupcake paper in each one. I doubleboil some Hersheys choclate bars and some of the Reeses Peanut Butter Chips (like chochlate chips but, well, peanutbutter). When this gets liquidy, I pour some into each cup and mxi with the shroom powder for each dose. Then I add some cocoa krispies and stir well. I've found that their is no mushroom taste (if the mushroom powder/chochlate gets stirred properly) and the consistency issues are dealt with by the Krispieness of the Krispies. Works great. Now my question;
Would mushroom powder mix in chochlate evenly? If I were to grind up an oz and mix them into the pot of melted chochlate, could I stir it up well, and just take the exact same amount from the chochlate per dose. It would be MUCH easier than having to stir the shrooms and the chocalte each time. Think it would be easy?
Do I win the award for misspelling "chocolate" the most times in one post?
