here's one jar:

and here's the other:

the spots have been there for 2 days now and aren't growing. The other 10 jars of cambo show nothing. keeping them at 86F... but a couple jars are looking wet. whats this look like; web?

oh and see in the bottom pic all the grains covered in white specs? A few of the jars have tons of these, but no white fuzz...

you'd probly want to move this to the grow log and pictures section.

In my opinion tho, it looks good. Cobweb from what i hear moves really fast so if that stuff is moving slowly its probably mycelium. Also you might wanna drop the temp down a degree or two. Mycelium generates a small ammount of heat so keeping it at 84 works best from my experience.

Btw i've never seen cobweb first hand, so wait for some other replies before starting to worry or not worry lol. :P

Cobweb is more grey then that and does spread exteremly quick.

Yes it's myc. Is there room to shake the grains? How was the lid prepared?

the spot marked looks a little like the start of green mold
hang on to it for a few days and you will know for sure
other than that everything looks fine.

I think its just cause its on the edge of the picture, if you zoom in it looks like myc to me. Hard to tell from that pic though for sure. Like Prisoner said, in a few days you'll know. My cambodians didnt like wet jars at all. They were slow and stalled and made some really sloppy growth. In good water content jars they were great though. Those white specs will grow fuzz soon on your other jars. You may have some stuff going but it might not be on the edge so you cant see it in the other jars. Just be patient, your looking good.

yes theres room to shake the jars.  theres a hole in top where it was innoculated and taped up.  the lids are on loose.

oh and maybe 3-4 of the other jars look reeally wet :undecided:

I agree Prisoner#1 Many molds start out white at first both the spot you indicated (doesn't even come close to resembling myc IMO) and the white dots that fearfect indicated now I could be totally wrong (it has happened) but I'd say at least two contams could be colonizing those jars :frown: IME
Don't shake those jars just yet, Also some contams can coexist with myc but contaminated jars should always be isolated.
The two separate growths your seeing are obvious microscopic growth characteristics that give us an obvious indicator of two separate pathogens. GL bro
