yeah the air pump needs to be on the outside? I haven't ever grown anything but wouldn't you just be recirculating Co2 with the pump that way?

If the fan was near the casing layer level and blowing outwards it would blow the CO2 out (the CO2 is more dense and sits at the bottom) and pull new oxygen through the top holes. This thread really should be in cultivation though..

#1 Put your air exchange holes immediately above the casing surface. (this will automatically purge your chamber of CO2)
#2 Put your air pump outside your grow. (Place an inline polyfil stuffed film canister between the air pump and the grow this will scrub the air, use hot glue to connect lines)
#3 A light inside IS a invitation for contams. GL

ya, and I would have the light about a foot away to keep heat from building up. You can adjust the distance based on how the temp runs.
