fanning (airation) and misting in pre-pining stage

High!

How much air is needed after the micelium has broke through the surface of casing and compost is exposed to light? In this pre-pining phase i fan terariums 3 times a day for 10-15 minutes, and strangly in one terarium pining is normal and mushrooms are growing while in other no sign of it and molds (i guess i made a mistake with misting directly and damaging the surface). However, is fanning 3 times a day sufficient? Should i fan less or more in the pre-pining stage, just before pining, when knots are seen? And what about misting, is it even desired in this pre-pinign stage?

3 times a day is cool

I have found if I keep the surface of casings damp all the time I run into contamins

For me once heaving pinning starts I don't mist the casing anymore

#1 Fanning only needs be 20-30 secs. in duration
#2 Prepinning is the casing run to the point where the myc pokes through the surface.
#3 myc thrives in a "near saturation" environment
During the casing run is the time to slowly over a period of several mistings build up that moisture level and once the myc pokes through is when I discontinue misting (during the pinsetting stage) until pins are set then I mist as necessary to keep the shrooms properly hydrated. Once myc is seen poking through then intitiate pinning meaning fresh air exchange, light and temp drop. GL
