YOU DONT NEED TO READ ALL OF THIS TO POST A REPLY , I KNOW ITS LONG.
Who here has followed your dreams (ambitions) or is in the process of persuing your dreams, which could be a certain profession, lifestyle or just somthing that you'v allways wanted to do but knew it would be very hard to achieve or at least require quite a bit of effort. I have set a goal for a certain profession that will be veeeery hard to get not only will i have to work harder then i ever have, but its not as easy as"if u work hard enougf u will succeed"or the classic"u can do whatever u put your mind to ", i will need to have "it" a certain vibe and creative outlook , i have also said to myself if i cannot work with the best that i would not be satisfied.I havnt told more then 2 people and one doesnt take me too seriosly, but persuing this may be my only chance at enjoying my life.I have lived in the moment almost all my life , and this is somthing that will take several years, and i am ready to devote most of my effort towards my goal.

To be honest, pursuing my dreams is everything to me.
Go for it...remember stepping stones! You won't get "there" in a short period and there is likely to be sacrifice and suffering involved. But once you're there....well. I dream of that day!!

I find that this is really hard. My dream is to live and work in the counter-culture, but I have no idea how to do this. I know some people that might be able to help, but other than that i'm not sure. If I can't do this then I have no idea what to do with myself, maybe i'm destined to work shitty jobs and live at home for the rest of my lufe......

work in the counter culture?
well good luck with what you want to do, though you're probably going to have to find a way more specific goal.
I have pursued / am pursuing my dreams right now. I always loved video games and art as a kid, and I just graduated from a computer animation school with a degree in 3d modeling/animation geared specifically for making video games. My dream was to make video games, and now I'm doing it. And it wasn't easy either. The past 2 years constisted of working 13 hour days and 6-day weeks, with little to no free time. But I love it and it was worth it.
Nothing more gratifying than really truly following your dreams.

Yeah, there's a few options i'm looking at. I'd love to do what Chinacat72 did, but the odds of that are pretty low. I'm considering liquid light, stagecrew, vending and maybe blowing glass. I'll figure it out one of these days Art and animation kick ass, I know a couple people that are trying to work in that field, it's great that it worked out for ya, I wish I could be that dedicated. Peace.
