About a week ago i got the pleasure of enjoying my first Dead experience. Shakedown was both really cool and shocking. About 99% of the people were really nice, the only people that kind of sketched me out were a large group of drug dealers who got out of an absurd Cadillac Escalde limo and some weird all-black-wearing junkies trying to sell me mesc. and when i declined they yelled about how much phish sucked.(I was wearing a phish shirt) Anyway, I was amazed by the people who are on tour. How in the hell do these people manage to do this? I mean i don't understand how they can afford anything...only like three people asked me for money. While they may have been just taking my change to buy some drugs or whatever atleast they were nice. I am just truly amazed by this group of people and i have to do it myself for atleast a part of a tour. Great people, great music, great times. I don't think there is anything more that I could ask for. Maybe im ignorant but i have got to tour one summer. Hopefully these bunkers and junkies will leave, i was even handed a flyer on Shakedown saying that oxy and fighting and punks are ruining the scene, maybe it will be better in the future, but i have got to tour some soon summer. Peace

Lots of them are trustafarians! Rich kids that look poverty striken Also like they were sayin, most of them sell stuff and just barely scrape by. I have sold veggie burgers and soda to tour before. And I made enough cash to get into almost every show and for gas....and that's about it! I got reaaaaaaally skinny on tour.

Hell, even if i had some huge trust fund it would no longer exist once my parents realized i was on tour...oh well ive got like a year or two to figure it out and its not like there are really that many bands to tour with now...i hope the dead stay around. Now that i think about it money for shows and gas wouldn't be that bad...ill find something legit to sell.

Word. It's amazing that all these pill junkies even have the energy to do a tour. It's kinda sad when you see way more people selling oxy's than legitimate psychedelics.
