Anyone recognise this?

I found this in a corner of my whole grain brown rice cased in verm:

White pinheads on long stalks. I would guess pinhead mold, but the FAQ tells me the heads should be black.
I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be there,so I removed all I could see, but not before taking a picture. Is there any hope for this one or is it time to bury it?

How much was there before you scraped it? It might be worth a peroxide treatment, but established mold is very tough to get rid of permanently. I'd give peroxide a try, but go easy; damp casings can encourage more problems. More air exchanges can also help tilt things to the mycelia's favor.

try the bleach and water solution. bleach kill everything. 1to 200
