Coir with Miracle gro

I have some coir poting mix with Miracle gro plant food in it. Will the plant food mess up my mushrooms? Im planing on using it as a top layer for my castings.

L ook at pet shops under reptile bedding (substrate), it's in a compressed brick.

i first bought it at petco, a semi-local chain pet store for like 4.99 a brick. But then went down to stock up on some hydro equipment at my local hydro shop and found they had a HUGE square of it for like 8.99. Returned the ones to petco and got it at the hydro shop. It was probably equal to like 5-8 of the bricks i can find at a pet store.
