I was sure I'd find something on this in the backlists of posts but all sorts of keyword combinations gave me nada- so I give myself to you! Is there anyway I can use bulk amounts of sporewater leftover to start an outdoor patch of cubes in manure/hay/dirt? Is this simply going to take more time than a colonized cake or is it impossible to hope for anything? Anyone wiht any practical exp.? Many thanks.

I once spent a whole day in spring adding spore water to a huge cow fields cow poos, i got nothing in return, but then im in england.
It might be a bit late in the season now for you to try this anyway, unless you are in the southern hem, as its late season now.

Feed it to a ruminant. It works for semi's and cubes.I know a dairy farmer who has a lovely cube fruiting each year by drying caps on stale bread and feeding the bread to the cows each spring(early like in march in the PNW). Then when summer and fall rain begins he gets fruit until it gets below about 55F. he collects his fruit and prints the rotters and less than perfect back onto stale bread to continue the next year.He has done this for long enough now he has spontaneous fruit in the manure in the barn after rain all winter(stays just warm enough to keep going). His feilds are mad with semis and cubes this time of year after a GOOD rain like we are having now WR

Holy shit- I think I know just the guy- I've decided to go it anyway since I just got some bags and syringes in and still have all this spore water anyway and an older syringe- nothing to lose and I'm curious as hell... Thanks whiterasta- I'm thinking about trying that idea dep. on now & then and the in between. Looks promising in my head.
