Well Hamurabi it depends, it does sound a little suspicious but you would need to elaborate on what type of shit and what process you put it through first.
Try to remember though that putting it in an incubator somewhat heats it, which is always a great way to make something smell.

well it's composted manure. doesnt say from which animal. I pasteurized it,let it cool overnight and spawned it with 3 brf cakes. Then i put in the incubator and my whole incubator smells SHIT now. The mycelium is taking over the substrate and it looks very healthy if u except the smell. Do u think it could be bacteria or sth?!?!:-(((

Did you dry the shit before pasteurizing?
It could be bacteria yes, in any case you need to just leave it for a while. If it is bacteria the mycelium will be fought and destroyed before long anyway. The smell will also increase in rancidness.
I could never say for sure. Bacteria doesn't really smell like shit. Which of course is a hugely subjective concept though so who knows.

the manure wasnt wet. it looked dry so i didnt think it would need to get dried. The mycelium looks very healthy and takes over the substrate. If it is bacteria.... would the mycelium grow normally and then fruit normally?

Should always dry it so it is cracker dry. Seems to help with smell for starters.
If it is bacteria the mycelium will not successfully colonize the tub, sooner or later it will be fought back by the bacteria. Even if it did fruit bacteria is one contamination I would not dice with, it is nasty. I can't imagine how bad it would be to have food poisoning and be tripping at the same time (I have had some pretty bad bouts of food poisoning (chicken) and I can only describe it as pure agony).
Also, last time I had something to do with poo (or growing for that matter), my lack of fully squeezing out the water post pasteurizing meant that the colonization was fought back eventually.

It will significantly lighten in colour and moisture content if you put it in the sun for a while. To the point where it is extremely dry and weighs almost nothing.

ok and what do i do now? i have never had bacteria and dont know how they smell and i had never made a casing with poo. now i have a casing of poo colonising and i have a very good looking mycelium taking over the substrate but very very intense smell of shit. if it's bacteria won't it colonise full and then fruit?
