thanks.
i have an indian strain of cubies in manure. they get fanned 2x a day and misted at the same time if need be. i have many shrooms that haven't changed for more than 3 days but i thought manure is a slower process overall isn't it?
temp is a little low too, 60-75F.
why are they breaking their veils while they are still so small, biggest 1/2" cap?

how are the brown streaks related to humidity?
my cakes are sitting directly on perlite to rehydrate them and one of the fat-stemmed shrooms at the base has a brown streak down its length.
CO2 is dissapated by fanning with lid of container 2-4 times a day.
