not just
a vital engram is carried
an imperative to be and to see the whole and one's place in it

sometimes the message is burried quite deep,
sometimes it keeps unfolding though the bearer would rather sleep

We are to machines as nature/evolution is us.

Do most people here think that machines will ever become as complex and sentient as human beings?

we will one day bring up consciousness in machines
after we understand it a bit better.
we won't need to completely define it
merely to provide the right environment.
more complex than good soil water air and light,
but not unnatural nor far too complex.
