PF tek jar multiplication

OK here's my goal: turn 30 jars into 60 jars in a short amount of time with no contams.
So I was thinking of just taking my colinized jars poping the cakes out onto a clean surface diceing them up with a clean sharp knife and then mixing the diced mycilium 1:1 with freshly cooked BRF/Vermiculite. Then putting this back into clean jars. 50% of the jar is already colonized so contams wont have a chance to take over right? I could keep doing this and just birth 30 jars at a time. All the while the rest of the jars keep re-colonizing.
Would this work? Any thoughts?

Find out if it works. as I understand it, contams can take over any part of a jar, including the mycelium, however under normal circumstances the mycelium that has grown out is not contaminated.
Contaminants do love to eat uncolonized BRF, though.
A better idea would probably be to do liquid cultures in honey water, etc.

If you can mix the colonized material with the sterile BRF in a completely sterile environment to keep from introducing the nasties in the process then of course it will work. But I think that it would be difficult.

Don't do it that way you are sure to contam alot of contams grow faster than mycelium . Do the kero tek then drop a peace of mycelium into that jar. shake like hell and incubate for 2 weeks you will see ALOT of growth. Shake some more then suck that up with a syringe and inject away

take a jar. put one hole in. cov4er with tape. fill jar with water, witha teeeny part of honey...about a 30th. then close up, cover with foil and boil for an hour on high ona stove. innoculate with spores and u will have a basically endless amount of mycellinium solution to start ur jars out right, adn faster, too.

If you are keep doing g2g(grain to grain)forget the brf use wbs. Get a glove box or a positive air flow box(mine).I'm starting to have good luck with this method. It's fast.
If your going to do karo look up the tek

Here is a link to the search function. Don't be a lazy bastard. This is a message board everything that is said can be searched and there is a "kero tek" that has been posted in the past all you have to do is get off your ass and find it.

I like this better than karo - faster - 4 days and you have a heavily colonised substrate ready to go.

Without a flowhood, I would suggest the Karo/Honey teks, as they work quite well and keep things easy to sterilize. If you want more yield quickly and can actually handle fruiting 30 cakes, try casing. It's not as hard as people make it out to be...I suggest the oven tek if you don't have a flowhood, but quantities of H2O2 in your cake mix will do wonders to keep out contams too. Don't forget your H2O2! Edit: I too like the syringe tek, kitteh...it is a simplified Karo/Honey tek with fewer chances of contamination.
