Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro and Port Chester Police Chief Joseph Krzeminski announced that a joint investigation conducted by the DA?s Narcotics Initiative and the Port Chester Police Department resulted in the arrest of a Port Chester man for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the first degree and other drug and weapons-related charges.
Police arrested Jesus Gonzalez, 25. He was charged with running a drug operation out of a top floor apartment at 25 Eldridge Avenue in Port Chester. Over the past month, Gonzalez sold alleged cocaine to a agency undercover agent on four occasions, including over two ounces on Thursday.
Gonzalez had $2,600 in undercover buy money and more alleged cocaine on him when he was arrested.
After police found Gonzalez, they searched the apartment where they recovered a fully loaded .9mm semi-automatic Uzi, a loaded and defaced .25caliber Raven handgun, another ounce of alleged cocaine, approximately five pounds of alleged marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The Harrison and Rye Police departments assisted in the investigation.
