damn blueish shit

this is my first run at the pf tek. my only jar that made it to pinning stange has some blueish color mold or something starting on it. i sparyed it with h202/h20 . do you think theres anyway its going to make it?

p.s this cake has about 8 pins and is in a pmp

Low humidity or rough handling can cause cakes to bruise and take on a blueish tint.
Isolate the cake and watch it. If it is contaminated you'll know pretty quick.

I once misted a pinning casing with straight h2o2. Every pin aborted. I've misted with a 10/1 h2o/h202 solution with no problems, so I guess it depends on how strong a solution you used.

Humidity should be 99% for cakes. I'd say low humidity is causing bruising. Mold wont start on myc, at least not usually so if its on the white stuff only and not on uncolonized cake then you should be cool. You should know by now in 24 hours mold will run rampant.
