well i cant post pics but i can tell ya what it looks like....

its more grey than white. Myc is white, Cobweb is greyish. also, the cobweb grows crazy fast, like it will take over the jar in a matter of days. its also real wispy, like troll hair (those little troll doll things from back in the day). Myc will be more "ropey" and what not, however, iv had myc that was pretty wispy itself that just grew outward in a perfect circle. if your worried that its cobweb, should just give it a few days, if its taken over the jar, then you got the Cobweb!!!!

Good advice! Lots of new growers think thier jars have cobweb, and later it turned out to be just fine. Nothing to lose by waiting.

my friend thought all of his jars were cobbwebbed, but they are turning out fine. when the mycelium first appeared it was greyish but turned white in the matter of about 4 days and are starting to pin.

I had two coir casings with growth that looked almost identical to this and I thought it was cobweb. They did just fine and put out 3 flushes tho, so I'm not sure if it was actually cobweb overtaken by mycelium or strange mycelium growths.

Sometimes mycelium can grow extremely thin like cobweb, it can be especially confusing early on in growth and on casing layers where it doesn't necessarily ever thicken up.

Time does indeed make it clear which one it is but obviously with new growers patience is not a thing they have quite mastered yet (hey, we all went through that stage).
