I got a Vic 20 and a Commodore 64, as well as a TRS 80 with the whopping 16 kilobyte memory expansion. WOOOO. Not to mention old 10mb MFM hard drives.

I've got an old C64, tons of games, joysticks, blank cartridges, recorder thing...I like it.
I've got NES but I think that's just old school and not really vintage.
I've also got some old Brownie 8mm camera's and projectors, an old reel to reel police telephone recorder and taht's all i can think of.

i think you guys should make synthesizers out of the commodore's sid sound chip.

or, if your commodore dies, pull out that chip (6581 or 8580)(its in a socket) and sell it. lots of people want them.

it depends how good you are at electronics and how much do you want.
if you hunt around you should be able to find something ready made, or you can order a kit - pcb, parts and a pre-programmed pic, or etch your own boards and program your own controller.
but as cheap as $30 up to a few hundred.
search for - sid synthesizer
