fruiting q's
    #3025064 - 08/19/04 08:43 PM (12 years, 3 months ago)

Hey folks,

A friend of a friend passed me this photo from his first attempt and had a few q's..

From reading he figures the white fuzzy stuff on some of the caps is due to too much moisture? Should he fan them more? He also wants to know how much longer he should leave these till harvesting... Should he wait till the white fuzz is gone, or is it OK to consume?

He will be very grateful for any advice!

well, My Friend usually harvests just after the veil breaks. yours are almost fully opened, and id say you should pick em, maybe shoulda already picked em.....a few days ago heh.

the white fuzzy stuff i imagine is Myc, its fine to eat, just pick those bad boys and dry em.

Looks like your "friend" already waited too long to pick.
Isn't you perlite blue polka-dots by now?
