I've done a field trip to Fl before. I planned my whole trip around the wheather in Fl. I checked the wheather patterns for a while, until the perfect rainy wheather came. I left a few days before the storm to scout the fields. I camped out when I went , so I had a tough time finding a place to dry them. Next time I will rent a hotel room after the pick and buy
a dehydrator. If you can drive the back roads where noone goes. You'll most likely find more then you'll need in a very small portion of a well hidden field. I had them drying in the trunk of my car where all my clothes were. Several pairs of my socks were completely covered blue from all the spores
released. Even after several washes they still remained blue.
That would be cool to but spore prints on a shirt in a decorative way.
Peace,
MPG

Truckers heat soup over the rad, no reason why you couldn't dry the shrooms in your engine!

Last fall, in the Martha Stewart mag, she had had a big story on making art with prints.

I saw that issue, I wonder if she knows any good shroom recipes? Those shrooms stunk it up in my trunk, I had that smell for two years back there. If I tried the engine thing, I for sure couldn't use the AC!
Peace,
MPG

What's up, Jesse! I'm confident in your I.D. of Ps. cubensis mushrooms. When I said to be careful, I was referring to the many LBM mushrooms that occur in the PNW compared to the several but few Psilocybian ones. Again, I'm wishing you luck in finding the Psilocybians. I've got my fingers crossed for you hoping you'll find the Ps. cyanescens! Also, I'm hoping you'll make it up this way come fall, so that you'll have an experience you'll never forget. It'll be awesome! PM me before or after you arrive. It'd be great to hear that you had a prosperous vacation. Ther are so many small psilocybes that fruit around mid-end October. Libs, baeos, Stuntziis, fimetaria and subfimetaria, cyans, possible azures. You might even find some beautiful Amanita muscaria and/or pantherina. I could go on for hours promoting our area. Hope to here from you soon, and stick around and Stay Cool!-Lev7.
