Normally I would agree McMan, but this thread has become pretty long before it got moved. Now everybody thinks its gone, or people are desperately searching for it :tongue:

So in this case I'll move it back so Ryche can update us on how it went.. Everyone who folllowed this thread would look in the spore vendor forum to begin with, so this would make sense I think.... :smile:

I have so much to say about this weekend that I will post in a little while. I"m working on getting some new pics up and catching up on threads in cultivation then I'll be back to this thread. It was certainly an interesting weekend :)

Well I know what you're saying McMan, but my thought is that this forum is for the Spore Vendors, and if a spore vendor posts something thats off topic here once in a while I don't have a problem with that....

Its just that maybe we should have a Mush Cult off topic forum :tongue: .... Seriously, if you think about it this BB does have its Off topic crowd which most of them don't ever post in Cultivation forums.... So maybe an Off Topic Cultivation forum is the solution.....

Because if Ryche posted this thread in OT, many of the cultivation regulars wouldn't have seen it.... And vice versa, in the OT crowd there would be many who wouldn't care about Ryche in his adventures....

Anyways, I digress.... I don't want strict enforcement, I do want each thread to be judged on its own merits.... I guess moderating is a bit tricky sometimes but often you have to make judgement calls....

I initially came here thinking Ryche had a Peyote Tek or something to that nature..He does have a way about staying at the top of threads though.........

Just move it to "other drugs" forum. It is more appropriate there then "OT". Obviously most of us, including myself, dont visit these other forums to often but just to lesson friction move it.
I asked Thor where the thread was so he moved it back here so I could reply to it. The thread will contain some info on mushrooms as well, but still more "other drugs" forum would be appropriate. I should have put it there to begin with but I was looking for immediate feedback before I left on this adventure.

McMan, I see what your saying but as for me I like it when max post alaska trip pics and ryche posted this stuff, it really lets people see that the vendors for who they are and that they are just like the rest of us. Ya know instead of a vendor always saying I have this and that for sale, it's cool to see that they also have a life as well, it really helps to understand them and respect them as individuals instead of spore icon's are something, so in my opionion I think they should be able to post off topic here in spore vendor after all it was created for them right? I think it kind of eases the tension as well around here...

Its funny, but a few months ago I was concerned at how little most moderators got involved with the community... Some Mods have always been a strong part of this community and they want this place to be the best it can be.... But I worried about some that don't visit often and don't check up on their forums much.. I wish everyone had McMan's enthusiasm for the job, I really do..... :smile:

McMan in his defense was doing what he thought was the way it was, but he just hadn't been given the low down on the duties... I actually said to McMan when he first got the job that I would send him a message with his responsabilities... I totally forgot, and in many ways I am at fault for this...

So I hope everyone is cool with things, we all do need to relax a lot around here and quit nitpicking every possible post for its conformity, etc....

Take a vacation, and just chill for a week or so. Get refreshed. Come back with a new outlook on life.
