10% ^points in The Hole.
    #3022927 - 08/19/04 12:56 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

John Forbes Kerry now has a 10% lead over George Walker Bush in the Key Battleground state, Ohio. Bush had this state in 2000 btw.

It?s looking good! We may be looking at President John Kerry this winter.

i was talking to my father the other night. he's a registered republican and has voted republican in every election i can remember. he voted bush in 2000... he's quite fed up with him now.... says he will most definitely not vote for him again. he's considering the libertarian party for his 2004 vote.

i think that there are a lot of people who are in the same position. i think that bush will lose the election, kerry will win, and third parties will get many of the votes.

it's just too bad that it has to be john kerry. we'll see what happens.

Could be worse, Howard Dean could have won the primaries.

Too bad you guys have only 2 parties that have any decent chance all the time in every election. Here in Canada, we have 3-4 parties at any given election that have decent power and equality.

I mean, you have the Liberals who are usually more powerfull, but the 3rd and 4th most powerful parties in Canada are still alot more powerful than the 3rd and 4th most powerful party in the states.

Don't count you chickens before they are hatched. Ohio has too many fine and decent Americans who will take a stand against John Forbes Kerry.

Yeah, uh, a link to the poll would be nice. That's an insane difference from the most recent Rasmussen poll which shows the race well within the margin of error:

Ohio 2004

Presidential Ballot

Bush 45%
Kerry 46%
Other 4%
Not Sure 5%

This poll was administered to 15,000 people throughout the month of July. While it is a bit dated and the fact that it was given throughout a month(with many changes throughout, including the Dem Convention...) may affect results, it is pretty inconceivable(though not impossible) to think that Kerry opened up a 9 point margin since this.
