Kerry On Top In Six Candidate U.S. Poll
John Kerry is leading the 2004 presidential race in the United States, according to a poll by Zogby America. 47 per cent of respondents would vote for the Democratic nominee, while 43 per cent would support Republican incumbent George W. Bush.

Independent candidate Ralph Nader is third with two per cent, followed by Michael Badnarik of the Libertarian Party with one per cent. David Cobb of the Green Party and Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party each garner the support of 0.2 per cent of respondents.

Seven per cent of respondents remain undecided, and 0.8 per cent would support another candidate. The election is scheduled for Nov. 2.

The Democratic National Convention was held from Jul. 26 to Jul. 29 in Boston. The Republican National Convention will take place in New York City, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.
