They are pretty cool.
They do remind me of the talking heads, just a little bit.

thanks alot man, Im always looking for new music to listen to in this crappy music age Ill definately check them out and grab soulseek, never heard of it before actually. I get everything I need besides music with bittorrent and usually get my music off of IRC, but IRC sucks cuz they only have popular music.

Modest mouse is by far my favorite band. I've been listening to them ever since I got back from Seattle in the beginning of the summer. My sister's boyfriend has been a big fan since they started up there and got me to like them. The song, 3rd Planet, is by far my favorite. It's just so damned cool.
I'll have to check out those other recommendations. I've been needing a new swing in music since noone in the area is into the same type of stuff.

I saw them live recently and was quite blown away by how awesome they were. They've quickly become one of my favorites.
And it seems like everyone who likes them wasn't too into them at first, but gradually started to like them until it clicked. I wonder why that is.
-------------------- The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.
