i dunno, for me, it's always after the peak that is best part of the mushroom trip,. Idon't understand it, but right after the peak hits, and the comedown starts, there's still visuals and stuff, but I can finally totally sit bac and sit in silence.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I don't think it's just you.. it's usually just after the peak when my stomache settles and i finally start enjoying the visuals. Maybe that's why i prefer lsd over shrooms, but i gota agree that just after peak when visuals are still kicking well is one of the best parts.

i went to the end of the known universe on the comedown of 2.5g of mex3's. listening to fallout from the phil zone disc 1 (grateful dead)... the mental visuals were hella cool, i started in a field, then soard to the mountains, then to the moon, planets, end of the solar system, and came to where the universe was no more, every bass line of phil's would sprout up another multi-colored/checkard mushroom from out of nowhere... i swear it was like picture perfect psychedellic experience

I had an insane combination come-down sunset experience with Medeski Martin and Wood not too long ago. *molli, pressies, mushi-choc, blot....that was a sensual night....

I wouldn't say I like the comedown better than the peak, but after an intense third-eye opening peak, it's nice to just lay back and blast some Floyd while coming down and still enjoying the visuals and feelings
Natural hallucinogens tend to be nice on comedowns to me, namely mushrooms and ayahuasca. Very peaceful and mellow usually

OMG me too. I peaked (hard) during the show and for a couple hours after, but the comedown was...enlightening to say in the least. I felt like I was resurrected. I still feel fresh from that trip.
Yeah, Kaiowas, I think the silence is immensely beautiful........and the light amidst all the insanity. WOW........

I noticed this too... its like the peak is too intense to enjoy. I even noticed it with 1.5'gs (but they were aborts)

I feel the same, although I do like when you're coming on to them. I love that giddy, almost excited feeling. (for me, anyway)

I often get a real rough comeup, which is always the most intense part of my mushroom trips. Then it kind of mellows, I get back in control of my mind, and I stay there for a few hours. Mushrooms are very smooth after that first part
