"kaio, you don't believe the brain developed to become as it was? We call that about 7 layers of neocortical tissue. Consider this, 98% of DNA is dormant "
for the most part I do...it's just that "why" question can't be answered. there had to be a cause for it.
who was the first person to say "I am"
as for the universe I think of it in a couple of ways
1) it's always been here
2) it was created
going from 1, science sees that the universe is expanding....expanding into what???? if it has always been, then how can people say there isn't a higher power? this is not to say that I'm saying there is a higher power, but with the many important quesitons like these, it's hard to say what isn't as well.
2) if it was created...where did that energy come from? did it just appear out of no where?? if so, how can one say there isn't a "creator" again I'm not saying there is...just displaying that saying what isn't is jumping to conclusions.
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I believe both your statements. Explanations I won't really comment, but I'm only able a person as you or anyone. I mean, even spacetime's funny, and much of what we see in deep space is warped garble from gravitational influence. Ask yourself a question, if you instantly believe a scientist stating, "These cosmic visuals appear to be moving away, spacetime is expanding." *Well, I guess this is something you can pretty much see anyhow, if spacetime accelerates, I'd imagine eventually dark energy, such as neutrinos gaining gravitational power when dispersed apart from each other and neutrinos are everywhere, would attempt to stabilize the acceleration of spacetime* If you want to answer that question completely, it's bestowed in the nature of dark (ignoro-) matter and energy; the universe as spacetime terminates in a violent implosion (big crunch) or drift near-perpetually (big rip). gee, i'll return tomarrow, though the original subject matter has been resolved, as someone sees me as his quarry. I don't expect any last word bs, but something atonic pffsh

I still think its more likely that the universe was completely empty at one point. Then over thousands of billions of year some kind of unknown "forces" started affecting the vacuum of space and maybe at some point some kind of matter formed that would set in motion the events led up to the big bang.
This is just crazy speculation of course but who knows what kind of particles exists that we don't have the technology to detect. Maybe there has always been some kind of resonance in the universe that given enough time (infinite) would eventually "create" something out of nothing. Call it the divine spark if you wish.
The space is infinitely old after all.

Humans will never be able to comprehend creation. That's part of the beauty of being human.
