Mushroom season in Finland

I haven't found any psilocybes in Finland yet and that's why I'm asking has any other finnish shroomer found _anything_ :smile:

Is it too early to go hunting? It's mid-august soon and I've read somewhere that best season is october to november.

the information you seek is out there. not in the FAQ, but elsewhere on the net. you should try googling it aswell. good luck.

The liberty caps should be getting started up there within the next 2-3 weeks.

I'd say it's too warm still... when temperature drops down somewhere around 14-16 Celcius in the daytime and around/below 10 C at nights then it's the right time to start looking. :smile:

i have this foaf in finland and he hasn't found anything yet either. strange with the dark/cold/wet summer that's been going on. he's going out again this weekend though...

And how about you... have you found P. Semilanceatas yet from Norway? Finland and Norway are quite the same... it would be interesting to hear. Or if there are any Swedes in here please post your finds. :thumbup:

what's the news guys, anyone found anything? my foaf still hasn't. as for me, i'd rather not specify my precise geographic location, but i do live in similar climactic conditions and i still haven't found anything either : (

there are significantly fewer shrooms of all types this year as compared to last....
