yes they will definatlye grow. i dont think there is a way for them not to grow. flowering would depend, but i dont see why not if its exposed to the seasons, ie by a window.

the grow and flower, never found out if they'd set seeds though, had a bad case of spider mites wipe them out. There's not much that can stop those things from growing.....except spider mites....

It's classed as a weed here so I'm sure you won't have too many problems with it

"morning glory"  isnt rare, it would be specific species that are rare.  there are some yards around here who actually had the city remove and fine the owners to get rid of these plants (not active ones mind you).  Here they are called a "Noxious Weed"  meaning if it spreads you are responsible for its cleanup (if its on/started on your property), and if you do not the city comes and does it for you along with a hefty HEFTY bill.  it includes things like ivy, broom, dandelions sorta and tons of others.  their main concerns are ones that do fast devastation like broom ivy and morning glory.

anyway ill shut up, it will grow great for you!!

There's a vine here in texas that I feel should be added to that list, I can't remember the name of it, but I feel like I read an article saying it originated in asia and was accidentally shipped over here with some imports. It grows so quickly and it covers everything in it's path. It's ruining many natural habitats and several of the places I frequent have become invaded by it this year.

I believe Kudzu is the name of the plant you speak of Hooty.

yikes. its freaky how easy it happens now. someone goes and buys a pretty looking plant, plants it and now its killing thousands of acres of native species....really horrible stuff. we have lost almost all our garry oak because of broom, ivy, and some grasses and of humans being super destruct-O. the worst ones are the aquatic ones.....now that has killed un countable area. even in our "earth friendly" gardening we manage to kill everything. im pissed cause of the losses here, wouldnt ever want to know the story in other such places such as south america and southern states...

hope its contained in texas, sounds pretty nasty.
