You can also use filtered water that doesn't have "tasty" minerals added back in. I do because it's only $0.30-0.35/gal out of the dispensers where you can fill your own container. Vinegar stinks IMO.

I know that's kind of small, but I'm also starting small.
So my question is how many jars do you think I can fit into an ~8 quart cooker?
8.5L is 9 US quarts FYI. The conversion you did is for imperial quarts.
Have a link to the PC you're looking at and the jars you want to use?

Thank you for correcting that! Here is a link to the cooker I'm eyeing.

I think I'm going to get it. If I find myself needing bigger, I can get a second one down the line and operate them both simultaneously.
Any jars you would recommend for a 9 US quart sized cooker?

Thanks for the info! Now I think I know what to expect from this size.

Hi guys! I am starting from scratch, and it's been nearly a decade since my last setup, so I need to ask:
In Europe, I am unable to find any pressure cookers of the size I could find in the US. The largest one of good quality is 8.5 l or 7.5 qt converted.
I know that's kind of small, but I'm also starting small.
So my question is how many jars do you think I can fit into an ~8 quart cooker?
Would appreciate an estimate. Thank you!
Hey man, I feel you I posted this already somewhere else, it might be relevant for you:

Just received my 23qt Presto Delivered from the US (amazon.com) to Europe in just 7 days! This is something I can really recommend to everyone in Europe: Ditch all these small shitty PC available here, and get yourself a proper one like the Presto. Total cost including shipping/fees is 145$/131€, but it's so worth it. Edit: 21$ I paid as a deposit for import fees will likely be refunded by Amazon, since none were charged. So that makes it 124$/112€ in total.
