I had the same question a week or two ago and was assured that stracking using a pressure cooker is fine. I sterilized 2 layers, broad 1/2 pints on the borrom and narrow 1/2 pints on the top. If you have space for more layers I would say the sky's the limit.

I recently picked up an 2nd hand pressure cooker and I am trying to determine it's capacity, it appears to be the same as this one:

What many quarts do you think that is?

Of note to the imperically chanllenged (such as myself) I just found this great imperial -> metric chart here. Maybe The Shroomery would want to put it up somewhere in the Grow / Find section, I have been looking for something like this for some time and I've had much need for it up until now (as I am sure others have).

All this cooking talk is making me hungry.. however I am convinced, I want to try using my PC for non-psychoactive food .  I have one concern however, the cooker is aluminum and when I cook jars they get a misty residue layer on the outside.  I don't imagine this aluminum residue (or whatever it is) would make for healthy eating, what's the deal here??
