    #3016425 - 08/18/04 02:07 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

ok so im walkin through some fieldz jonesin, smokn a j enjoyin the nice day wit my boyz, when we stumble over maybe 50 plants if not more.... you could tell that no one iz growing them, juz becuase of the location they are in... so me and my buddys were thinking since there in such a far location if somehow we could dig em up out and replant em nearer our houses so we dont have to take the 25 min trip up there everytime... so my question is what do i need to do to bring these back and replant em and have em survive and eventually bud... thanx for the help d00dz!

50 marijuana (i'm assuming) plants growing in the wild. I would doubt that noone is growing these. I would suggest leaving them there, ripping peoples plants is NOT cool.

chances are they are someons plot. the more out of the way they are the better. peopel around here drive 1-2+ hours and hike in another 20 or so mins to tend to their larger crops. most peopel i know plant in the hardest place to get to as to keep people from stumbling onto it.

if for some odd reason they are growing wild it woudl be best to leave as is. pulling them up this late in the year isnt really that great for them, yeild would probably be smaller. if it were me id leave em till they start flowering, if they already havnt, then bring them indoors to finish off flowering and to be 100% sure rain and shit aint gonna mold it.

Um how are you sure no one is growing them? Ever heard of guerilla growing? Growing in the least likely/most difficult to travel place? If you go back you may have an angry gun wielding guerilla on your hands.

Or is this just wild hemp in which case it would be a major waste of time?

im more then 90 percent sure that no one is growing them because they are scattered in so many different spots, even spots itz hard for a person to get to, like you'll have 5 plants in one location and like you'll walk 5 min more and ull find like 10 all scattered, and then you'll have 1 random plant juz chilln by itself, it lookz to natural to be someones, iz out in the middle of no where, and then theres like 4 plants that r completely budded.... i would assume theyd pick their fruits if they were budded.... if you saw the setup you'd understand, you guyz just have to take my word.... there are like HUGE ones im talkin 10ft, and then there are like 4 ft. ones... if we were to take em, im assuming it'd be better to take the smaller ones, but like what precautions do you need to take before u dig em up or like what do you just basically need to do to keep em alive and replant em and all that

Ripping them up succesfully ( not that I would ever reccomend it for fear of the karma), would require quite a feat of diggin considering the depth of the root structure. It would kill the plant, and if not, completely stunt its growth. Plants are not meant to be dug up. If you just can't help yourself, top one fo them (about a half a dried ounce if you're good), and dry it carefully. Ripping them up wouldn't benefit you in ANY way. Have a peaceful day though- and yeah- growers like to make things look natural, very natural. If they don't a chopper can spot the plot very easilly because of the uniform coloration and appearance of the vegetaion.

thats how most the outdoor grows i know of are done. but ill give you the benefit of the doubt and still say leave them. plants that large are NOT going to take to a move very well at all. maybe the smaller ones, but it would certainly be best to leave them to grow there especially if some are already done. moving such plants is also great risk to you and getting busted...not much good can come from such a task.

I can tell you will probably steal them regardless of what anyone in this thread says.

Quote:

That is a guerilla grow, sinsemilla doesn't just grow like that in the wild. Can you think of anywhere better to grow outdoor than in the most natural looking place in the middle of no where? The plots are scattered like that for a reason, so flyovers will not spot a bunch of plants grouped easily.

growers aren't to found of dope theivs, most don't live that long.

hell lots of growers set up little traps around their grows.

If the moral reasons aren't enough for you, maybe this will change your mind.

I think deep down you know that they are someone else's plants otherwise you wouldn't want to move them.

I say leave them, and do not fuck with them.. If the people growing them are into the game they already know you were there. Next time you show up there don't expect a walk in the park, that's for sure.

if its good stuff and growing itself naturally i'd leave it.......your probably not the only visitor to this magic spot,it sounds established.....take what you need (some cuttings and bud)and leave it be and dont be greedy
maybe even weed/fert with some slow release pellets  to help em

i wouldn't mind if i owned it as long as they done some weeding lol
if theres as many plants as he said, you wouldn't even notice it
its supposed to be natural
if its an illegal crop then the owners know all the risks ie poachers/pests/animals/law
setting traps is criminal because hikers and kids can stumble onto them
