baking dry verm

silly question, can you bake dry verm, like if i were to put the verm i was going to use for my casing in the try i was gonna strealize in the oven? quick replies pls, i'm thinking of doing this in a few mins and i don't wanna burn the house down.....

Verm is mostly sterile to begin with if the bag was sealed. Once you add water the water introduces contams and it must be steralized.
