Unavoidable setback.
    #3011775 - 08/17/04 03:02 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I haven't even visited the shroomery in months let alone posted, but tonight I'm bored and lonely. Yes, tonight I came to a realization that has influenced me to get as drunk as I am by myself. I'm 22 years old. I work part-time at a restaurant, I haven't been to college for a couple of years, due mainly to laziness, and I'm not going to go back untill January, because I waited to long to apply for loans. This summer I've been haveing a blast partying with my friends almost everyday. Tonight, I was at my girls place and had to leave so she could sleep and go to work tomorrow (she has a full time job). Usually when this happens I go and hang out with my boys but tonight I couldn't because all my friends either have full-time jobs or are leaving for school within a couple of days so have no time. So I'm by myself drinking, it's sad. Five of my good friends are leaving town, or the state, or the country by the end of this week for school. Leaving me with just my full-time job friends. I'm depressed tonight. I guess this gives me a good opportunity to work on myself with no distractions, but I love my friends, and love haveing them to distract me untill I get my shit together. Has anyone else experienced this kind of crap, and how did you deal with the temporary loss?

you should check out some full time jobs too. i'm also a master procrastinator. it seems all my life all i've worried about is partying and not getting important stuff done. oh well. i've experienced similar stuff, but i don't think i worry about it as much as you..

I've allways said, "I'm in no hurry", but if I've go noone to party with, why should I keep wasting time? I don't want to ever stop partying, but I would like to move foward all the time. Life is tough, at moments. Nothing is that serious, but it is definately depressing for now.

Black shadows dance beyond the neon glow
There's rumours in your head that just won't let go
They hold on so tight, it makes your blood run cold
?Nailed as the night? trying to save your soul
Don't ?...? pray, it's just a cry from the street

It's ?...? believe that what they keep they own
So you've lost someone that you thought you owned
You know it's a crime but what can you do?
That's the price you pay with each turn of the screw
But don't pay no mind, it's just a cry from the street
