OK, so its looking like it wasn't either of our faults, so we are both fruitcakes :)

Lets just forget about this, I'm sorry for the uncalled for namecalling, as it really wasn't deserved. I understand how you thought it might have been me that edited you post since we posted at about the same time that night, it looked suspicious I'll admit.

this is getting ridiculous. Lets be friends, not enemies :)

True....I'm usually very easy to get along with, but also very easy to piss off, especially on a bad day.

Again, I'm sorry for any name calling on my part, it was quite imature.

I've been reading y'all for days! I'm glad you're at peace, if my opinion matters. Throughout the year I've been scoping this place for information. Lizard King and Mitchnast are two of the most informative faces on this site. You've both been here for a good while and have seen each others' posts and have responded in glee. Why would you post a public debate, especially bombarding MJ's first Psilocybe Stuntzii pic of the spring 2001 season?
And if MJ's reading this, yes, I capitalized Stuntzii. It's Daniel's last name's reverence, isn't it? That's about the only beef I got! Well, except Psilocybe "W"eilli! Minor bitching, but bitching as well. Ha!
Stay cool and remain as peaceful, mycological individuals in harmony with the CPU as well as the universe!-Levi7.

You know, I went back over and read this whole thread, and I have to say, it was me who lashed out and got serious about this whole stupid thing, and to a guy as cool as mithnast whom I've always respected nonetheless. I really am sorry, I don't want you to hate me mitch, lord knows I have enough enemies.

Changing the subject, I can't wait to see some more subbs this year, mitch! When do they usually come in season? I'd like to see some good habitat pics this year :)

In my opinion, considering Andrew Weil's name is accredited to the species, Psilocybe Weilii. The same for Psilocybe Stuntzii, accredited to Psilocybe Stuntzii. I believe we should capitalize the species regarding the reverence to great mycologists. They were hard-working individuals! Let's say a new mushroom species was credited to John Allen and it's name was Psilocbe Allenii. We should definitely capitalize the species name in regards to the names of the accredited individuals. I know John has named species in his life, but he named them disregarding his last name. That's cool, but otherwise, we should capitalize. That's just my opinion, if it counts. Stay cool, Lizard King!-Levi7.

OK, I see what your saying, Levi. I guess those mushrooms that bear someones name could and should be capitalized. Makes sense.

It never really had anything to do with the subjects at hand. I've been meaning to mention it for awhile, though. I really enjoy pics of Pan subbs as well as the Weilii. You know, when I find a patch of Stuntziis, they never look as pretty as some of the pictures you people post. The cyans are pretty cool, though! It sucks that they only grow in one season.
Also, I got a digital camera for Christmas and have taken a few mushroom photos(only 640x480). Can someone tell me the process of getting them from my folder to this site? Thanks! Stay cool!-Levi7.

Actually I do have a mushroomer which bares my name and I named it after discovering it for where I discovered it at.

Psilocybe samuiensis Guzm?n, Bandala and Allen.

And I was wondering why all that arguing was going on in a mushroom hunting forum, but who anm I too complain.

In fact I am not sure if I posted these already. Here is a little bluing in P{silocybe stuntzii.

well Mj, it seems this BB is posesed by gremlins. theyre running around changing stuff and making things tense.
how do you get rid of gremlins? elves i can handle. aileans are trendy and marketable. but gremlins? thats so 80s!
anyway. to make this post al leat half on-topic. those mushrooms look mighty good. id call that pile a fairly decent trip boardering on the brink of insanity. and you can even eat them with a cracker and have enough change for 5 gummi bears. what do you do when you find a pick like this? my ass personally calls up some shroomers and has an epic day.
(i now refer to myself as "my ass")
when they get here i sit around with them showing off the harvest and teach them about bluing, sporeprints, translucent pellicules, etc. then we eat them and learn a great deal of respect for knowlage and the mind.
then we DANCE YEE HAW!

i can tell you picked those in clusters :) got those sporeprints on the caps. nothing pleases me quite like a cluster of psilocybe semilanceata, normally they are quite gregarious.
ive once grazed on them, as would a cow. then i mooed.
keep up the good pickin. ive yet to get tired of hunting pics. am starting to get tired of cultivation shots :)

Are you calling me a Gremlin? A Gremlin I am not! I'm not even an elf! If I were, I could sit upon those huge mushrooms you collect. And when you consumed them, without noticing me, I would really irritate your stomach until you barfed me up, losing your holy find! Gremlins are baaaaaad! I am gooooood!
Actually, elves aren't that small. But I'm not a faery, either!
Anyway, Stay cool!-Levi7.
