Say someone just moved to a new town and is looking for a supplier of Canibus. How should he/she do it?
I guess the best way would be to find some new friends, but suppose this person didn't really have time for new friends and just needed a reliable hook-up.

Or perhaps go to a bar or social place and pick out the obvious ones, strike up a conversation and tell them your deal

Mmhmmm.. find a crew of friendly stoners, they're really not hard to pick out no matter where you live. Buy from/with them. And from there, you'll be able to pick up some good hook-ups. Sometimes it takes a little while to get the ball rolling, but just keep things on the downlow and play your cards.

i have this long-sleeve shirt with a fat leaf pot leaf on the back with the words 'pakalolo' and something close to 'legalize today, get high tonight'. it also has a purdy little pot leaf on the front. it's helped. some people come up to me and say 'you burn?'  like this one time at the bustop after my car got wrecked. this dude asks me and i help him out. about 30 minutes later we're smoking.

Find a local head shop, hang around there for awhile. Ask the store lady cool place's to hung out, let her know you're new in the area.
Find a skate park.
Hit the bars, you're bound to find the right one sooner or later.

indeed. but if you have to get some pot, what's wrong with walking around and asking people? I mean unless you are in a really small town or something, then I'd do more observing.
I dunno, in cali, people walk down the street smoking blunts and are more than happy to share (if you have some dough). hehe offer to smoke with them when you buy, that's a really cool way to break the ice with dealers and they'll remember that (which means fatter sacs and a friendlier face).

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Alot of our local bars have bands.. check around and go to these bars and see what the scene is.. a drunk with weed is a freind indeed because usually drunks are alot more apt to talk with people and be less suspicious of new people. so might give that a shot.
